Our Lady of Manaoag at Tierra de Maria
Reviewed August 19, 2013

Its not good as seen in the website., but as an average its ok, with cool and calm atmosphere near around it. Anyone can climb up and can see the taal lake view and volacano scatters. There are some plant garden too on nearby

This little shrine is not only for Catholics. Stepping into the room for inner peace gives me a sense of serenity and peace. There was a queue lining up to pray and touch the images of the Lady Manaoag. You can climb up to the 3rd storey landing to have a good view of the Taal volcano island. The cool breeze on the 3rd storey landing was very refreshing.

on my 2013th birthday spent in tagaytay, it was a sunday, so we made sure to pay a visit to this site of mama mary, considering i came from a marian school. it was small yet a serene place for meditation, you can write your personal prayers on a paper that you drop in any of the boxes there, oh dont forget to get a message from the egg basket upon exit! its a guide answer from your prayer wish list. :) i also read a scheduled prayer healing 1x a week from their posters. i bought home a mama mary scented oil which my daughter loves to put on her aching tummy when it hurts. there's also a wishing fountain under the 50-ft tall mama mary statue. its just awkward to take a lot of photos inside a serene place such we took 1-2 shots only under the towering statue. free parking along the streets, just park along the side of the site so you need not to cross the street. there's also a cr for nature calls & a lot of vendors for snacks/drinks. and fresh local fruits offered, just haggle for a good bargain ;)

Visiting Tierra de Maria is a must. It's such a solemn and serene place for prayer and meditation. Marian devotees shouldn't miss this place when visiting Tagaytay. Do visit the rooftop as it has an excellent view of Taal Volcano and Taal Lake.

I am not a catholic but I found this place very peaceful and quiet. I always drop by here to accompany a friend and every time we go here you can really feel the sincerity of the people who visits the place. A good place to say your prayer. No entrance fee is required.
