We had our overnight at a discounted rate, so for that price, it was good enough for the stay. The room was spacious with amenities for cooking, like any studio condotel. Sleeping is comfortable and relaxing. However, the location is at the far end of Tagaytay so you need to request for shuttle service to reach the gate if you have no car and get a jeepney or tricycle ride to go elsewhere. For those wanting to just sleep and relax all day in your room, this is good enough because the view from the window is panoramic. Better bring your own food though because there are no restaurants yet.

Studio apartment just fine. Got a car underground parking even better. But staff seems to forget that the service charge is built in to the price of the stay. If they are not tipped in excess of the service charge then your room does not get made up if you can put up with this then its ok to stay mid week special is priced about right. pool was shallow not for laps. beds were fine security was fine front desk was fine. parking was fine. ac was fine...housekeeping could have been a whole lot better.....dirty floors at check in had to ask for the floors to be cleaned...other than that the tappas for breakfast was good...

The view from Crosswinds is breath-taking because of the numerous Swiss pine trees that line the road. The condotel units are perched on an elevated terrain, giving you a fantastic view from the balcony. The air is fresh and cool, the pine scent is very soothing to the nerves. But sad to say, it is not yet ideal for an overnight stay. The property is not yet fully developed. There are no shops or restos within the compound. Meals are served at the country club which is a good distance from the condotel. Most of the chalets and the condo units are still unoccupied. It is like staying in a ghost town with only a handful of hotel personnel to keep you company. The area is vast and the units are located far from the main gate. One needs a private vehicle to get in or out of Crosswinds. The swimming pool is the only amenity that is available to the guests. Crosswinds is still a work in progress. There are buildings and structures that are still being constructed to house the rest of the amenities.

We stayed here last June 2011 for our anniversary date, the place was quite nice, but the location is very far from the main of Tagaytay attractions. There was no restaurant available in the area, only the convenient store that sells microwavable food. The swimming pool is a kilometre away from the hotel so it’s not convenient for us because we hate walking that far. So the romantic date that we planned was disappointing because we got the wrong choice of hotel

Staying over for just a night at Crosswinds Resort Suites in Tagaytay is not enough! It was my first time to stay overnight here last January 5! It's a private residential area with Swiss inspired homes. At the center of it, you'll find Grand Quartier, the 2 towers serving as the resort hotel in the area.

Going around it in the morning, you'll see their convenience store (also in Swiss architecture), their amenities area, and the posh Swiss-inspired houses that elegantly dot the rolling hills of this area. I heard some of the society's who's who has bought a house here. Crosswinds' got residential area and the resort suites area - kinda mixed.

The pine trees and the overall ambience of this location testify to its Christmas everyday theme!

I've got photos here but they don't do justice to the place. Here's the website to see more photos and get in touch with them: http://crosswindstagaytay.com/the_grandquartier.html

After a family reunion in Tagaytay, my sister's family and mine stayed overnight here. We rented the 2 bedroom(s) unit for P7800 with 2 breakfast included. The condotel is quite far from the maingate with steep roads to maneuver but it adds charm and excitement to it.
Our unit is very well furnished: with 2 flat TVs(Living and masterbed rooms);dining table set with classy plates/cutleries; kitchen equipped with stove/oven,microwave,rice cooker, electric kettle, pot/pans, refrigerator. The unit has a balcony where you can relish the cool, mountain air and enjoy the fog.
Downsides: There is only 1 bathroom but there is a laundry room which would be better if converted to another bathroom. The shower area should have some divider so that water will not run through the rest of the bathroom floor.
Breakfast was ala carte with a choice of tocino, tapa, longganiza,or bacon paired with 2 fried eggs and garlic rice and a glass of orange juice--roomservice but they say during the weekends when the hotel is full, breakfast is served buffet style.
I think the pool being used now is part of the residential clubhouse as it is quite a distance from the condotel but they say they will soon build a pool nearby for hotel guests. A hotel restaurant is under construction.
Despite the few downsides, I will still give this a high rating as the Swiss ambience of the place is all worth it. And the smell of pine trees.....mmmm.

The place where this resort hotel is fabulous, cool and a nice 1.5 hour drive from Manila. As soon as we enter the village where the resort Hotel is situated we were amazed at the many pine trees all over, I am reminded of Christmas. It's quite a drive to locate the hotel because it's a big village. The reception is not as great but as we got to the room, we were pleased to see the room is equipped with kitchen, ref, stove and microwave and also utensils. Had I known, I should have brought food to cook. We had a great night, the view was nice but the downside was the poor breakfast.

Room Tip: Read reviews first to prepare a good meal right there.
