“Culinary Satisfaction in the Bag”
Reviewed January 18, 2014

Not the first timer, but this last visit with my daughters (one visiting for Texas and the other taking a day off her surgery duties) was satisfying, especially to my daughter from Frisco, Texas. We missed out the breakfast buffet since we left Manila almost 10:30 am but we found culinary comfort with lunch buffet.

The selection of international and Filipino dishes is great, the supply always replenished and the place (thanks to civilised patrons) bereft of mess characteristic of those who seem not to be able to wait for a second helping. Fruit juices, tea, coffee and chocolate flow freely and service personnel take away empty plates from customers with full tummies.

Sunday lunch buffet this time seemed overflowing with people. I would like to believe that reviews of people such as myself help spread the good word. Hopefully, Bag of Beans will not be a victim of its own success, as patrons sit and wait out to be seated and no place to park.

“Creamy pies”
Reviewed January 12, 2014

The location is quite far from the main roads. Ambiance is really relaxing and warm having the wooden interiors and the plants all over the place. We super loved the apple pies but we were expecting the beverages to be "hot" not warm when served to us.

“not much but sulit Brunch Buffet”
Reviewed January 8, 2014

My boyfriend and I arrived at the resto a little short of 11AM and ask one of the staff for a table for 2, he said lunch is also ready in the buffet. The place is really nice and coze and crown are even nice too, even if the restaurant is full at lunchtime it is not very noisy compared. Probably because most of the guests are family and not a group of teenagers. The buffet cost 495 there isn't much choices compared to other buffet restaurant but for the price it is well worth it. We loved the baked tinapa it was just perfect. Although there are some food that tastes awful (the dessert i dunno if its mango or jackfruit but it tastes like tempra) and the kaldereta and kare-kare isn't that good as well, it is ok though. Other dishes is just fine.

“Worth your money”
Reviewed January 5, 2014

The place is nice and cozy where you can relax, chat and have great food with your friends or family. They also have good interiors. The staff are polite and accommodating. Their food is good and a bit pricey.
