My wife and I have a wonderful experience in this hotel, we booked the honeymoon suit and they gave us BIG discount as a gift. we arrive lake hotel at night but still we were warmly welcomed by the hotel crews. it was nice, quite and chilly night. the management advice us to wake up 5am early to see the spectacular view of Taal Volcano. Wow, it was a wonderful scenery at the Volcano's, we were amaze by the spectacular view from our room balcony. And we were given a free breakfast buffet for two, the fish was taste so good ( i forgot the name and found only in Tagaytay ). We dont have the chance to go treaking instead we were given the chance to join the life releasing of fishes at the heart of the lake, it was wonderful seeing all the fish released. We miss the excitement so we were planning to came back again..

Room Tip: ask for discount cards for more savings.

We felt that Ms. Jeanette valued our business. She's very apologetic because of the treatment we experienced the first time we checked in at The Lake Hotel. Security guards and housekeeping crew we're consistently nice and pleasant. There was an improvement with the food. Jeanette (admin.mgr) is an asset to your hotel, she cares with the credibility of the hotel and cares so much with its guests. There's still needs something to improve, the water drips from the AC living room suite we checked in, that caused me from slipping. Some of the hotel crew is not consistent if somebody needs some help and they will just stare on you.
This time, I can say that The Lake Hotel is worthy of our time, effort and money.

We are a group of 4 who booked 2 weeks in advance via phone call to their manila office in Gilmore. They gave us a 50% discount despite the fact that it was a weekend. We are so surprised with the superb room they gave us. For P4000, we have a pretty decent room (2 twin beds and a pretty big comfort room). Plus, we get complimentary breakfasts for 4 pax! :) The staffs are very accommodating as well. The parking area is big compared to the neighboring hotel, however it was quite muddy as it was raining hard that day. The receptionist asked for our email address so they could email us any upcoming promos next time, we're thrilled! :) Definitely coming back to stay here again!
P.S. The gym is small, the equipments are less than 10 pieces. The swimming pool is at the center of the hotel, you can see it the moment you step into the lobby (which makes it quite embarrassing to swim since all the guests who enter and exit the hotel can see you swimming)

The water is strong, with hot and cold water. The cable on the flat screen TV is very clear. The bed linen and comforter are very white. Didn't see any insects or bugs inside the room.

Room Tip: call their office and ask if they have a promo on going to avail of cheaper rates. All their rooms a...

This hotel is perfect for young couples! My husband and I stayed at the hotel to celebrate his birthday. The De Luxe room had a queen sized bed and a single bed, it can fit two adults and two kids. The room size was just right, not too big not too small. It was functional: the room had a dresser, flat screen tv, mini ref and a safe.

The bathrooom was divine! It had a tub, a separate shower, and enough room to move around. I also loved that it had a hairdryer! It would've been perfect if it had a bidet.

The staff were nice and welcoming - I've no complaints whatsoever!

The food wasn't too great but it wasn't bad either. The room came with breakfast buffet. The food choices were: garlic/plain rice, pancit, scrambled eggs, fried fish, sausage and tapa. They also had white bread, wheat bread, pancakes and fresh fruits. The choices seem apt but rhey weren't too tasty - something to improve on.

The hotel had an amazing view of Taal volcano, a pool and a gym. They also have a function room that could be perfect for small events.

I loved the overall experience and we'd definitely be back!

This hotel is nicely situated at the center of Tagaytay where they have all the other interesting restaurants, hotels, spas, shopping places, money changers, etc... Are located. Its not necessarily quiet at all times, which is what Tagaytay is all about. It overlooks Taal volcano and the lake.my family enjoyed their pool although small. Their service is good and the Steaktown restaurant was good and reasonably priced. This is a place more for business convention. The amenities are good.

Room Tip: Try their Steaktown restaurant. They have a buffet with the steak for Php 600.

Because it is holiday in my area, Pasig Day, July 2, me and my husband decided to take an over night break in Tagaytay because we want to go on a food trip. We chose the The Lake View Hotel after reading the reviews and because it is new and the area where it is situated is close to a lot of good restaurants. They offered buffet breakfast, free wifi and a 30 minute massage, I said it's a good deal, go! But all these are false advertisements! None of the 3 happened. There's plate breakfast, absolutely no wifi and the 30 minute massage is a gadget they bring to your room which steams your feet and it's a lousy gadget, had to ask them to take it out! Yes, the hotel is new, the view of the lake and the Taal Volcanoe is beautiful. The staff are polite especially the wait staff at the coffee shop, Vlademir who was patient to assist us with our order.
I was disappointed to say the least, the room is supposed to be new but it smells old!

Room Tip: Get a room with a view of the lake, it has a balcony.
