My family and I loved dining at Sonya's with its rustic and a bit eccentric decors (chandeliers amidst the garden like setting and wood carvings) made for an interesting lunch. The same cuisine apparently is served all year long for the past couple of years, yet people never seem to tire of it judging by the number of visitors. I couldn't quite agree because the eat all you can salad with its delicious dressing and all the other accompaniment to the buffet meal is delicious and offers people a variety of tastes when making a salad.

Went on a romantic day trip to Tagaytay and had dinner at Sonya's Secret Garden!
If u want to find this place be prepared to find yourself driving further from Tagaytay and turning to the road that gives you a feeling that there is nothing there anymore.
Place is very nice with all the garden, rose petals, fresh air and calming Tagaytay weather.
We had set menue where we enjoyed "make-it-yourself-salad". it was just so fresh that we couldnt stop eating, however, pasta was not al-dente and we really didnt enjoy it much! We loved their bread with different dippings that u can mix together!:) dessert was not that nice, chocolate cake didnt taste like paradise, but tarragon tea was pretty interesting!
After dinner we even got two plants home - mint and tarragon!:) anyway, it was a good experience, we liked that nobody bothered us and it wasnt that crowded, so we cold talk, laugh and enjoy our time alone:)
There is also a store where you can buy organic products and cosmetics, we didnt really try it:) i recommend this place, but one time is more than enough!:)

Surprised hubby for a dinner treat @ Sonya's. Shocked or having no meat at all he abrubtly plannes on getting a meal @ Mc Donalds .... After having our salad, admittedly he liked it! We were full already from bread and salad.. then pasta (though not extraordinary), we just made our combination with their dried tomato sauce and did not bother to use the chicken sauce.
Dalandan juice and hot tea was great! Though turon had so much wrapper than the content and sweetened potato is just too sweet. It's good for adults meal.. though can't say that kids would love it...

I first learned about Sonya's Garden for its buffet. An eat-all-you-can salad with the freshest vegetables of the mountain, interesting salad dressings, pasta to die for, sweet salmon, and that refreshing dalandan juice. And for an additional few hundred pesos, you get to have roast chicken that melts in your mouth.

Inside the Garden, there is the panadera (bakeshop), I always buy Hispanis bread when I visit.

The place is like a...well, garden. Plants and trees all over, and the hallways are filled with white hanging chairs for that romantic feeling.

They also have a spa and is available for overnights...honeymoon...

Ample parking available
