“Buffet rather than ala carte”
Reviewed March 18, 2012

My family and i choose to go to Josephine's on Sundays for their buffet. There is a wide array of food to choose from and you get to eat right away without being famished. Based on our experience, ordering ala carte translates to prolonged waiting and heaping a bill for just a few dishes. Moral of the story: Go buffet on Sundays at Josephine's!

“Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY”
Reviewed March 10, 2012

Tagaytay is known for their diverse culinary tastes and Josephine's WAS known for it before due to it's location but NOT ANYMORE. We were there for a welcome dinner for a wedding. Food is MSG infused and several of the guests included locals and balikbayans had a headache. Food is oily and felt it was rushed.
Try other places. The prices are high. Ambiance seems like it was popular during the 80's and didnt even bother to update the place. The toilets were terrible and unclean. The toilet from SM mall is better.

Check out other places to eat--even Mcdonald's.LOL.

Good ambiance and good food.
A place worth visiting.
It's pretty close to Robinson's.
It's easy to find for commuters.
One jeep ride away from Olivarez bus station.

“Nice venue for a wedding ceremony”
Reviewed February 27, 2012

The place is not high end. It is down to earth and very Filipino. I find the location perfect for an afternoon wedding in an open air garden overlooking taal lake because the building is shading the guests from the sunlight naturally.

The location for the reception, however, needs improvement. There were too many posts and pillars that didn't offer a good view to the guests seated at the back. One screen for the slideshow or video presentation is not enough, unless of course you are willing I ask your guests to stand and go closer to the screen as you all view it together.
