The hotel is very quiet with a beautiful view
To himalayas especially from the resto on the first floor. The staff are welcoming, they also have a nice buffet; the room prices and food prices are very good, and for its the most beautiful hotel in duIikhel compared with the surrounding ones. i stayed there for one night, and it was very nice.

The setting is great but the layout of the hotel & the location of the rooms leads to a lot of noise disturbance from other guests the walls musta be made of cardboard. Rooms were spacious but bathrooms were in need of renovation ! With broken & dirty tiling & terrible showers.

Nice place .Good atmosphere. Food was great....professional staff....Heard the view is excellent from the hotel.... could not enjoy much due to the foggy weather. the walls had nice designs traced on them .... There is a playing area as well .....so kids will not get bored........ Its a large property and exploring the area is fun in itself

I have already writen a review on Mirabel resort six month before (see 'stunning view'). This time I got oppurtunity to stay for a four days seminar. I found this resort better than last time.It is spread in a very huge area of 10005 sq.m. and full of greenaries. The resort is divided into five blocks two have cozy rooms(basic, standard rooms) and three blocks have deluxe rooms. The reception is very small but we don't go there to sit in reception lobby while there are plenty of sitting areas outside with a view. First day
I stayed in room no 508 in cozy block which is a basic room but clean and well kept, its bathroom has no tub but plenty of hot water with excellent pressure.
From second day I was shifted in deluxe block in room on 101 which was very nice and of good size. It has all necessary ammeneties like mini bar, multi channel t v, phone, wardrobe, writting table etc ut no AC and you neither need it. Becase dulikhel is a cool place. If it rains in night the weather becomes foggy and misty in the morning and same in the evening if rains in late afternoon but it is not cold to light heater. So, visiting dhulikhel in summer means a great relief from heat and pollution of kathmandu city. The bathroom of 101 has a bathtub and a gyser so hot water anytime. The housekeepers everyday cleans the rooms and change the linens. Wide range of snow peaked mountains can be seen from windows itself during clear day mostly in the winter and spring/atumn. The room has power socket to insert card for power which is not usual in Nepal. The resort has very good back up system so load shedding is not a problem.
We ate in their restaurant Chhahara in 'Tab De hote' basis all the meals from breakfast to dinner were tasty and plentiful and changed everyday.
Staffs are very polite, helpful and friendly.
You can see paintings everywhere in the resort which is really very good.
There are so many wonderful places around Dhulikhel so stay in mirabel and enjoy Dhulikhel.

We got a nice and clean room which would probably have had a great view if the weather wouldn't have been so foggy - my bad luck. Anyway it was a good getaway from dusty and noisy Kathmandu. The place was very peaceful and quiet, there were not so many other people at that time. We paid 55 $ / double, taxes and breakfast included. Sure you can find something cheaper with the same quality if you have time to see around & bargain, though...

I was in the Mirabel resort to attend a three days wrokshop held from 29-31 Oct 2010.
the resort is really very beautiful. The views from the terrace was terrific. The hotel is just two minutes from the main highway. The restaurant we were given for breakfst was very good. Writings on walls near the restaurant was very interesting. Various guests from different countries have written and drawn their opinions and imaginations on the wall. Open area surrounded by tree for lunch was very pleasing but a bit freezing too.
Sunbathe on the rooftop at this time was also a good option to enjoy the magnificent view of mountains and hills.
The service was a bit slow may be because it was high season and sevral other guests from outside were there and they should be given first priority. [may be but if so it is not good for locals]
Food we ate was just ok nothing to be mentioned.
Staffs were smiley and helpful and very professional.
Being a fist timer in the resort and dhulikhel as well, it was a great experience.

We just returned home from or Nepal trip and we arrived physically but
mentally we are still in this wonderful country. We stayed in Dhulikhel for
some hiking and we stayed in Mirabel hotel which was a very good choice.
Clean, cozy, very comfortable rooms and balcony in a nice surrounding.
We liked the food and all the atmosphere and thanks to all the staff for
the very good service.
