We booked grand deluxe room which was great and excellent value. The in house shampoo and toiletries smelt like industrial drain cleaner! Thankfully my mrs had bought our own! Problem solved.
The grounds and pool area are very well kept. Breakfast both cooked and continental very good, with excellent coffee. Easy to get to if you arrive from Yangon by bus (once you have argued the head off a nail with the taxi drivers at the bus station!). Also easy pick up for Balloon flying if you've booked that. A lot of the balloon pilots seem to stay in this hotel (or at least have breakfast in it!).

Room tip: Book the grand deluxe if you can if you are a couple... Plenty of room compared to one of the other rooms we saw...

Very centrally located close to market and eating out.
Our room with a balcony faced the outside of the resort with the view of temples.
Well kept compound, clean and comfortable room.
Lovely dining area by the pool.
Happy hour was from4 to 6 pm, so we missed it.

We have just returned from a memorable stay in Myanmar and enjoyed two lovely days at this hotel. It is perfect. The setting is beautiful. The hotel even has its own stupa in the grounds! Unbelievable. Money and taste have been spent here. It is spotless, very well kept and well run. It really is super stylish and incredible value for money. It is also very peaceful. Meals were very good and the large pool is fabulous. Comfy clean spacious bedrooms and very quiet. Cannot fault this place. Lovely staff. Nothing is too much trouble. We were blown away by the value and service here. It is also a great base for exploring the temples and stupas of Bagan and a welcome relief after a hot day around the sights. We were also lucky enough to be there while a performance of Burmese dancing was offered as a cabaret during dinner by the pool. Highly recommend on all fronts. Cant ask for more.

This hotel is extremely picturesque....with ruins on both sides, gardens, pools, well manicured grounds, and lights at night tHat make is shine! Had a standard room and it was just that....small and adequate...everything worked.

There is entertainment some nights out by the big pool, but not too many
takers whilst there...probably because their restaurant and drinks are pricey...except during happy hour, 4-6pm where you can get mixed drinks and fruit juices 2 for 1....beer is expensive...3x what other restaurants charge.

They do handle groups, but they seem to have plenty of staff to handle. Morning buffet breakfast best in Myanmar to date for us...in a lovely setting.

Really enjoyed our stay here....

Small room in the older part of the complex. Functional. Breakfast is good and plenty to chose from. Great base for exploring the temples of the area by e-bike (for rent at the hotel). The pool is fantastic! Good thai/burmese restaurant (Queen) just east of the hotel.
