This smallish pagoda temple whatever you call it is clearly the most Indian of all pagodas in Bagan. It is a copy of the Mahabodhi temple in Bodhgaya although the latter is much larger and older and seemingly much better preserved than the one in Bagan as it has been allowed to decay with the statues, embossing and other finer details have been influenced by the weather and neglect. Nevertheless it is worthy of a visit.
