“We know this is the new rage, but”
Reviewed October 19, 2012

On a busy street, very noisy. We really wanted to like this place more, but were left kind of flat. Food was just ok and service as well. Maybe we hit them on an off night.

“Nice place, good food, relax atmosfere”
Reviewed October 14, 2012

It is a nice restaurant, very clean, and with delicious food and very polite staff. The dishes are really generous with the food, so you will be satisfied not only with the taste nor with the amount.

“Nice little place”
Reviewed October 13, 2012

Nice little place in the center of Rantepao that feels cosy, comfortable and clean. It's a good place to meet a lot of the guides or fellow travelers, and the food is nice.

“Nice food, comfy and special place!”
Reviewed September 15, 2012

We had dinner here after a long day exploring Tana Toraja. Sitting in the courtyard is like being in a little oasis where you can have a cold beer and really good food. Aras is very passionate about his cafe and always available for a chat. The cafe is decorated with Torajan art that is also for sale - just talk to Aras. We took some beautiful pieces home as souvenirs.
We ended up drinking beer until late with Aras and his very entertaining friends, who play the guitar and bongos and sing beautifully - not only songs you know, but also some amazing Sulawesian songs.
We had a great time, thank you for a lovely evening!
