We had a long trip from Bali to Bromo - a driver - his name is Dewa - came to pick us up in the morning and drove us all the way to Bromo. We had an early start next morning at 3am we visited Bromo national park and then the next day we managed to go to Ijen - that was the most amazing part of the trip!!! such an amazing place, our guide Arie was truly exceptional he was making sure we are alright when we were hiking like literally every 5seconds checking up on us as it was a very dangerous hike in some parts and he'd be patient with us when asking for breaks every now and then. He always tried to get us best spots for photos and views. Really going the extra mile. Truly great experience so dont hesitate. the whole service of arranging this trip was seamless and professional - thank you Suzanne!

We had a great time on our trip from Bali to the Ijen crater. The organisers (especially Susan) were very helpful. Susan promptly responded to our emails and helped tailor our tour. The operators went out of their way to ensure that our trip was comfortable and helped us with various ancillary issues throughout the journey.

We stayed at a lovely hotel in Banyuwangi and were provided with a great guide (Riyan), with well-spoken English for our trek. He was filled with stories about the mountains and the various regions, food etc of Indonesia and also informed us about the mining operations, the process for extraction of sulphur etc.

The organisers also allowed us to tailor the tour to our needs, since we were headed to Yogyakarta from Ijen. In fact, they helped us coordinate our return on a different date and waited for our train to arrive for over 2 hours so that we could be assisted with the ferry transfer (despite us eventually requesting them to leave due to train delays)! We could not have asked for a more comfortable and professional tour. Our trip was very memorable. Many many thanks to the entire team of Bali Java Holidays!
