The Peacock room we stayed in was very tastefully done with the Peacock theme. Owners have kept every little detail in mind, like a set of stirrers in the Tea box, two large coffee mugs, Twinning's green tea sachets, herbal toiletries, milky white linens, collection of towels, pillows, and great bedding quality competes with the much famed Oberoi Udaivillas, Udaipur. Had our breakfast packed the next morning, was in a hurry to drive back to Gurgaon. Paranthas & Pickles were great, just loved the little zip-lock pouch of mouth freshener. 2 km from the Dargah, and easy to locate, this can compete with the top rated B&B's in the country. All good wishes to Dr. Nidhi Sharda & team.

Room Tip: speak to the owner for recommendation.

All in all, a highly recommended place for anyone who wants to come back with a smile There was also wifi connectivity, and the hosts offered a perfect mix of privacy and hospitality making us feel completely at home. Awesome food , Neat And clean , and the rooms can be easily compared to a good Hotel.

Its always good to be hosted by the locals, particularly in places like Rajasthan. Ajmer is an ideal place if you want visit Pushkar for a day and be back, while doing lots of other stuff in Ajmer.

The best experience of Rajasthan comes from its heritage and Sharda's is one of the increasingly rare stays that is housed in a building of heritage value - dating back to couple of centuries at least if I am not wrong. Shardas are not just the best dentists in town but probably the most vibrant and fun couple in Ajmer! We discovered it on our drive to Ahmedabad from Jaipur. Its a different feeling to live in a heritage home with really sunny people!

My reco is for the pottery room which is really classy. And do find some time to spend in the porch. its an experience in itself. The view from the terrace are terrific. The house clean and very decently maintained.

For those who dont know Ajmer, everything that maters in this town is just a few minutes walk away - The Baradari, the Dargah, market etc. I visited the lake which is just across the road on the last daywhen we were in a rush. I realised that Shardas was the best place in Ajmer to spend couple of days loitering around the lake and trekking on the hills around. For the shoppers, a mall is just next door! And I cant thank the Shardas for taking time from their busy schedule to show us around in the town. Can't wait...going back soon for more!

Room Tip: The Pottery room is grand. The Peacock one is really vibrant. But they all are same, when the hosts are so sweet!

Well its a Home stay ...

Awesome food , Neat And clean , and the rooms can be easily compared to a good Hotel.

The Owner ( Mrs Nidhi Sharda ) is a Avid cook ...had the most amazing mutton with hot chapatis ...Home cooked .

And my very fussy stomach did enjoy it too.

Will stay there every time I go to Ajmer.

Enough said.

Room Tip: All rooms are very very nice . no noise and very spick and span.

Sharda’s Homestay was indeed a pleasant surprise! Located in the heart of the City and close to Ajmer Dargah Sharif, this pleasing premise is very tastefully done with all modern amenities combining an exquisite blend of contemporary interiors and an exceptional ethnic touch.

The clean, inviting beds with appealing upscale amenities in this bright elegant home made our stay extremely comfortable. The warmth and hospitality of the staff was even more gratifying, not to mention the freshly prepared home-made breakfast that ensured a very special start to our days. There was also wifi connectivity, and the hosts offered a perfect mix of privacy and hospitality making us feel completely at home.

A state-of-the-art Dental Clinic run by our congenial hosts on the ground level deserves special mention as it enticed us to extend our scheduled stay by a day so that we could all flaunt better smiles! ;-) All in all, a highly recommended place for anyone who wants to come back with a smile :-) Also another reason for us to travel to Ajmer again! :-)
