We arrived and were unsure if we should enter. Then we were welcomed and given all assurances that he just wanted to give us a tour and explain all about the sufi religion.

We were given the most amazing tour, with history, the sites, the smells, the passion and belief.

We chose to make a donation into the massive cauldon without any pressure and we did not get asked for any personal donation for the tour.

This is the centre of the universe of the sufi religion and should not be missed.

I am not religious, I don't believe in God, but I do believe in being a good person and this visit reinforced my belief that I don't need to go to church to be a good person.

Outstanding!

Obviously, this is one of the holiest shrine in all of India and though we didn't enter, we visited just to see the area. There is a spiritual aura about this place thats hard to ignore. i wish we could have spent more time

The sanctity of the mosque and devotion of people visiting the place was beyond capitalization. Every person visiting Durgah was satisfied to have gained something in the form of blessing of heaven creature! Every one in this world must visit the secret place at least once in his/her life.

I recently visited the dargah. The best way to reach the dargah is to go via the new bypass road. You can park your vehicle about 600 meters from the dargah and walk towards the same through an extremely crowded bazar. The entrance from this side is less crowded as compared to the main entrance.

The so called spiritual people inside the dargah are always asking for money, to the extent of seeming as extorting money from the devotees, hence one needs to be very careful. there is no provision of storing your valueables like cameras which are not allowed inside, hence you need to be the at the mercy of local shopkeepers. lot of people will approach you offering "quick service", better to avoid them. The best thing is the spiritual powers of the dargah itself, rest everything around it is a waste of time and complete no no.
Place is also not well kept and is close to being called dirty.

It ia absolutely a piece of mind. do visit. search for good hotels even if they are located away from Dargah..Donot fall prey to the so called priests. If you want to donate, donate according to your will and that too against authorized receipts. Keep your cameras etc at the hotel itself as cameras are not allowed inside the dargah. However, you can take photos/videos with your mobile phone.
