At the west entrance to the Ngorongoro Crater. Our luxury property "cottage" was almost 1200 sq. ft. and very comfortable. Beautiful grounds overlooking a working coffee planation. The staff was very helpful and provided excellent service. The grounds are well maintained and groomed. A wonderful location. We are only sorry we did not schedule an extera day to just relax and enjoy the facility.More

We recently stayed at Neptune Lodge right outside the entrance to the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania.
The accommodations were top notch & the premises had a pool & a terrace overlooking a beautiful valley
The dining experience was also wonderful for both breakfast & dinner. The staff waited on every need & the grounds of the Lodge are Magnificient.
If visiting the crater, I suggest you look into booking at the Neptune!

We stayed two nights at this Lodge and it was truly exceptional -- the superior quality of the rooms, the exceptional all-round service, and the impeccably maintained gardens. The food too was very good. In addition, it is only about a 5-minute drive to the main entrance gate of the Ngorongoro National Park, thereby allowing us to get there before the hordes without having to leave very early in the morning. The Lodge GM and his staff were very accommodating and polite almost to a fault and made every effort to satisfy every request from sending morning tea to the room to the boxed lunch when going on the game drive. Could not recommend it more highly.

Beautiful hotel with stunning views and friendly staff. They light fires in your fireplaces so you return from dinner to a cozy, warm room. Very convenient to the main Ngorogoro entrance gate. The food was delicious although everyone agreed that the portions were too small. That was the only negative to an otherwise wonderful stay.
