We chose Popote for the Machame Route 6 days, it is definitely the agency to go for!

Before departure Sabino was great with his patience in clearing all our doubts.

When we started, we discovered it was just the two of us and we were impressed by the organization and amount of person for just 2 people.

The team was all composed of local people who made our experience just perfect.
Our guides Stanly and Dulla were very friendly but at the same time professional, and they were the key to our success in reaching the peak!
Not to mention the super Chef Sadick who cooked for us the most amazing food (and we are Italian, so we know what we talk about 😜)!
A big thanks also to Crazy Willy who woke as up every day with a cup of coffee and motivational speech, he was amazing!
I should also mention every single person who was part of our team, each one of them was fundamental for the success of our experience and will always stay in our memories.
We recommend Popote 100%

We recently completed the 7 day lemosho route with Popote and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The team look such good care of us. The food prepared on the hike was out of this world- we ate better on the hike than we do at home. Also, the team at Popote provided us with a portable toilet which was such a pleasant surprise. We were provided with hot water for washing and everyone on the team was so pleasant and helpful- I can’t imagine a better team or company out there. There were 4 of us in our group and they even provided us with 4 summit guides the day of the summit to ensure we were well taken care of. This company really cares about its customers and it shows every step of the way.

If you are trying to figure out which operator to do Kilimanjaro with, Popote will exceed every expectation!!!! Book them, you will not be disappointed!!!!

I took the 6 days safari with my sister and husband and it is unlike any other trip we have ever done together. I loved everything about this trip. Our guide Maxwell was knowledgeable about all the many animals we saw on the trip, including birds. He was charming and caring which is important when you spend most of the days with him driving the jeep.
The people at the hotel, camp and lodges that we stayed in were accommodating and friendly. They let us relax in the resorts after day excursions in the parks.
Some of the key highlights are the first sighting of a leopard and rhinos, very close encounters with wild elephants, lions, cheetahs and zebras.
We are very happy with the whole trip and plan to book another trip over x-mas.

We finally made it to Tanzania after the long postponements owing to COVID-19 restrictions. Thanks to Sabino who helped us with the changes and all planning prior to the trip we had all the activities we wanted fitted in the itinerary.
We had a fantastic guide Moses who made sure that we had a trip that is worth remembering. His impressive knowledge for nature - flora & fauna, flexibility and patience to allow us take photos and enjoy special moments that came in abundantly.
Accommodation in the selected lodges was fabulous and we had much more than we expected.
I definitely will come back and recommend Popote Adventures

Despite the course being extremely tough, my husband and I had the most wonderful experience. The guides were very supportive with the many years experience between them evident with the way they carried out their roles. They all gelled together as one team consisting of guides, porters and the party cook.
It was much fun learning about the details and specifics of each section that we traversed.
We both made it to the summit but we could not have achived this feat without the constant support of our guides and porters.
We were lucky that we did not suffer from altitude sickness aside from a slight cough on our way down from the summit.
I cannot thank the Popote Adventures enough for this epic adventure.
