I stayed for two nights having arrived from Dar es salaam road trip. Received well at the reception late in the evening and managed to get a room without advance booking. Clean airy rooms, comfortable bed with all basic items in good working condition, restaurant has English menu and the receptionist was helpful in doing a little briefing of the area, locations for currency exchange and taxi service. Hotel is easily accessible and was Ideal for me to catch Tahmeed bus and/or Riverside shuttles as i was planning on a further road trip to Nairobi. Chef to consider Local/African menu, otherwise I recommend the facility and will visit again.

I stayed here for one night before I left for safari. Everything was very conveniently located. We had a room on the first floor that was modest but had all the comfort we needed before we left. The wifi worked well and there was a pool with tables scattered around for everyone to meet with their guides before safari. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Room tip: Ask for the ground floor if you are climbing Kili before you stay here!

Stayed here for a total of 4 nights; 3 before our Kilimanjaro trek and 1 after, great hotel for a short stay, very clean and convenient.

We stayed in two different rooms during our stay, the first (a double) was very uncomfortable, mattress was extremely hard and we had to use our travel pillows to provide more comfort. Second room we stayed in after the trek was a twin room was so much more comfortable. Other than that, both rooms were very clean and had good air conditioning, a mini fridge, complimentary water and a decent shower.

On the whole the food was good, dinner was better than breakfast, menu was varied with both local and more 'Western' food like pizza. All dishes we had were very nice and freshly prepared but be aware that wait times can be quite long (about an hour, maybe longer if they are busy). Price is decent and staff are very friendly.

Location was good, about an hour from the airport, very close to the town with banks, shops etc. and security seemed very good.

Would recommend Parkview Inn and would be likely to stay again. Only negatives are the poor WiFi, lack of hot water in the shower and uncomfortable beds.

Stayed here with my Mum, husband after our safari and met a friend after he climbed Kilimanjaro. We stayed 1 night before flying to Zanzibar.

Check in was swift and we were led to our rooms quickly. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Our room was basic and clean enough with everything we needed.

The pool area was lovely and was perfect for us to relax in.

We had a meal in the restaurant which sold most western food but was reasonably priced.

Overall, this hotel had everything we needed for just a 1 night stay. We wouldn’t want to spend any longer here but for the price we would recommend the property to friends and family needing something similar.

The staff who was headed up by the assistant manager Mrs. Kusunia was a complete pleasure. the hotel was safe and comfortable and yet accessible enough to the city of Moshi that if you wanted to go out on your own you could.
I talked to Mr. Maitra the General Manager and he was great. I discussed there ongoing affiliation with the Amani Childrens Orphanage and I went out to visit the orphanage for two days in a row........what a GREAT Opportunity for Trekkers to spend a day either before or after the mountain visiting the staff and children of the Orphanage. This hotel is what its all about, using the modern facilities as a launch pad for trekking and then visiting the orphanage as a way to give back.

Room tip: get a room in the front of the building
