Good food, fast surface, never disappoints. Chicken burger is not what I expected, but it is Africa, and was delicious. Also, very cheap! Go there every time we want something quick and easy.

They have a decent veggie burger (harder to find in TZ) and fresh made french fries/chips (the latter can be found virtually anywhere in TZ however). Decent local food if you are a omnivore but from a vegetarian's perspective, this place is better for simply grabbing a beer and snack. There is seating on a small patio outdoors, slightly cramped and no special view, just the busy city street outside but it is shady. The seating area indoors is dark and a bit strange, as it is set up on the nightclub dance floor...If your a dancer, come back after hours when the entire restaurant is magically turned into a popular nightspot known as Pub Alberto or as the locals call it, simply, "Pub". Great mix of local music and reggae.

Chrisburger is a place centrally located and frequented predominately by locals. They have a nice mix of local food and some hybrids such as the burger. The fish and chips are excellent and a meal for two typically costs under 15,000 with drinks. The dining environment is a bit cramped on the patio but there is a spacious inside. Beware, at night the place next door is a club and the atmosphere gets a bit seedy.

They also sell nice "bites" in the morning hours; chapati, samosa, kebabu, etc.

This is a great local spot with great prices, quick service, and a nice covered porch to sit on. They also offer bag lunches which are great to take on a safari.

The menu is almost entirely Tanzanian, just FYI (the fact that "burger" is in the name might make you think otherwise). So come here for good, local food.
