You can't beat the Union Café if you're looking for a great cup o' Joe, somewhere nice to sit and use Internet, and perhaps a bite. I don't usually get the food, but when I have it has been good. The cake is better than what you'll find elsewhere in Moshi - moist and tasty compared to the dry cake that you usually find around here. For food, it's hard to beat their wood-fired pizza oven and their prices are comparable or better than other places around. People often get take-out pizza, as we have before.
The Internet here is decent, but not fantastic - similar to what we have found almost everywhere else in Moshi after living here 6 months. You pay 500=/ for half an hour and it often goes in an out.
They have a great porch to sit on, or there's good indoor seating as well. The staff is friendly and again, the coffee is fantastic.
Another great thing about Union is that, unlike some of the other coffee shops and restaurants like it, it seems to have a better mix of locals and tourists.
Don't miss out on this if you come to Moshi - and don't forget to buy some of their bags of coffee to take home!
