The location and sea views from individual rooms are outstanding. The hotel interiors (lobby, restaurant, and rooms) are bland and sterile (you could be anywhere). We stayed one night and it was okay, but a little pricey for so little atmosphere.

Travelled on the 24th and over nighted to the 25th September 2011.
The room was booked by my daughter-in-law who gave it to my wife and myself as a birthday gift. The welcome at reception was outstanding and our room had a beautiful sea facing view
and in pristine condition. The room was very comfortable and afforded me a good nights rest.
The dinner was outstanding with the chef and staff constantly checking up and enquiring if the meal was up to standard or if we needed something extra. The same thing happened @ breakfast.
The staff were all very friendly and attentive and would recommend the hotel to any traveller going to visit Mossel Bay.

Firstly we had travelled from Port Elizabeth and were to say the least exhausted. On arrival the service was friendly and proffesional. The Hotel was quite full but attention was paid to us and we were settled into a lovely room overlooking the best sea view I have seen in a long time. The rooms are clean and neat and I'm sure they will upgrade to improve on slightly outdated decor etc.
We decided to stay for dinner and were pleasently surprised. Great service good food.
Woke up the next day to the sound of Whales a 100m from our balconty AWESOME!
Breakfast was good and served in a beautiful setting.
Will be back when we next this beautiful part of SA

If you get the chance do not stay here there are better accommodation available. We had travelled from Cape Town doing the garden route and stayed in some lovely places and very reasonably priced with free internet. This was the most expensive you had to pay for internet and if this is what Mossel Bay had to offer then it is shame. If really felt sorry for the people on a package holiday they did not have a choice We were put in a room under the restaurant and not being advised that a coach party was in that would be leaving early all we heard was scrapping chairs and opening and closed patio doors from 5.45am onwards Old fashioned, breakfast cold and when we go to the restaurant at 7.30am all that was left were cold leftovers I most unpleasant experience not to be repeated. We were going to spend 2 nights but 1 was more than enough

I booked this hotel for my wifes birthday, she was impressed by the fantastic sea view. Although the hotel was standard the location to amenities made up for it
