This place has pretty good food - fast service. No views to speak of. We quite enjoyed our fish dishes. It seems to have a crowd of both locals and tourists.

Got to the place, had to stand in the foyer becoz no-one knew which tables were available outside, waited even longer to be served, the sushi was horrible, since when do south africans make their own sushi, come on theres a reason the asians started it, so why is this placed rated no.2?????
The waitress was aweful nearly didnt give her a tip!!!! Will never recommend this place to anyone

The setting and views at night were great.
Our food was very well prepared and tasty.
The food and drinks prices are on the high side, so you expect good quality and service. Our service on the night was not good at all. I think they were short staffed during the peak season. Our waiter started 2 days earlier and he was not well trained.
I would love to visit again out of season when they are not so busy.

We had dinner there as a family over the festive period. It is not cheap and maybe for the price I expected a bit more. Service was lousy and slow and the food nothing to rave about - just average. A starter and main course will cost you between R 220 - R 280 per person, which in South African terms are expensive and for which you would expect someting extraordinary. I must admit - I was disappointed.

whilst in mossel bay i was invited to dine at the cafe gannet and it was lovely having the special fish dish of the day. Very polite staff and very intentive to the customers needs. Good knowledge of good south african wines and outside a stunning view of the bay.perfect meal but next time i would return outside of high season december and in perticular christmas as its very bussy.
