Exquisite decor, warm and welcoming service, delicious brekkie and a wonderfully unique experience in a beautiful dorp. Definitely a must stay for any travellers passing through! The differently styled rooms are so fantastically unique and makes the stay all the more attractive.

We had a nice stay at Aa'Qtansisi. We had a warm welcome and enjoyed the garden. Our room was not to big, but good for a one night stay. We booked a tour with David to go see the Valley of Desolation. It was amazing.

We overnighted as a family in this charming little family cottage in the garden. We greeted with welcome cocktails and the children enjoyed a swim in the little pool. Our room was charming and well-appointed and all comforts were provided. Our room was creatively decorated with crisp white linen, antiques, quirky teddies on the boys' beds and the wallpaper was made from old newspaper cuttings which made for fascinating reading! We strolled into town for supper and breakfast served in the main house the next morning was delicious and beautifully presented. Our car was washed before we continued our travels and our hosts made us feel very welcome indeed. We will definitely return!

Room Tip: The outside cottage is perfect for families with young children.

Charming character guest house, conveniently located with unassuming attentive service. Very helpful, well worth opting for the home cooked dinner. A relaxed place to stay, wished we had longer. The car wash in the morning was both unexpected and most welcome. Highly recommended.

Aa'Qtansisi is in the centre of town within easy walking distance of historic places , quaint shops and restaurants .
After a long drive through the Karroo it is an unexpected pleasure to find such an oasis .
We shall certainly stay there again

It's a very nice quiet place to be.
We loved the pool afterwards relaxing ;)

Dislike: The small conditioned breakfast
Like: The comfortable bed and shower

it's very near to the mountain's and the City.

We are on a 3weeks tour in South Africa, but have been travelling manny times before, but we have never stayed in a more luxurious and totally friendly place like Aa'Qtansisi before. It is highly recommended. Nico, the chef, makes wonderful homemade dinners so we chose to do inhouse dining both nights. The breakfasts are simply the best and served in the most elegant way. We loved it. Staff most friendly and Pierre, the owner, a genuinely friendly guy. And even our car was washed without our asking for it. We will certainly comeback back if ever returning to South Africa again

Room Tip: We stayed in the Zanzibar Room which was lovely decorated. Our friends stayed in the French Room whi...
