Guesthouse Jane
Ranked #7 of 32 Naivasha B&B and Inns
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Stayed in the main building for a week in February, from the outside it looks great, inside is cosy but aging. The water supply could do with a complete service, the pressure is too low for the showers to work correctly, plus we were left without any water twice during our stay, the main water pump failed.
The staff are fantastic, Freddie will look after you and nothing is a problem. The gardens are well looked after and the pool is clean. Jane and Deiter are great hosts except when Jane told one of our friends not to use too much water, for some reason the water seems to be a problem. Overall we had a comfortable stay, if you asked me would I stay there again, the answer would be no, don't think it is value for money. The Olive Resort next door is much better.

Room Tip: Stay well away from the room at the bottom, no drawers, no wardrobe and isolated.

We went here to go to Hell's gate national park and we're given one of the 'bungalows'. The bungalow's are simple, but nice and very clean. We opted for the bed and breakfast option, which one morning was good: egg prepared in a way of your choice, toast with jam, juice, tea and fruit. And the other morning was a bit disappointing we were just given some slices of bread and cakes and some fruit and tea. So no eggs, which was really a shame if you dont have a sweet tooth and no juice either. We also had dinner one of the evenings, which was very tasty, but maybe the portions could have been a bit bigger. There are nice gardens with a small swimmingpool. The location is also quite good as it only a short walking distance to Naivasha town if you would like to go for a drink or go to the supermarket. Jane and her husband are very helpfull if you need directions or anything. Overall a very positive experience
