The location is absolutely superb, the food is great and the game drive in the private park is also very nice. The only downside was that when we returned from our night game drive we still had a 4 course dinner to finish. The speed of serving the food was too high to be able to enjoy it.

We spent 2 nights at Kiangazi House with our 2 kids aged 7 and 11. It was an excellent experience compounded by Chris ,our guide for the game drives ,managing to show us the the solitary resident male lion in the Oserian reserve . The highlight of the trip was the sundowners they served around a campfire within the reserve. It was an almost spiritual experience to watch the herds of game on the plain with the mountains in the background as dusk set in while sipping a decent glass of red.
The food served at all meals was excellent. The Chef discussed what we would like to eat at dinner just after we completed lunch. He made kid friendly meals like spaghetti for our younger one while we had more elaborate 4 course meals.
The staff was very friendly and efficient. The house itself has a very relaxed feel and dollops of colonial charm .We'll definitely be going back for a longer stay soon.
If you are visiting with kids I would recommend that you take the garden rooms which are slightly apart from the main house and have attached verandas with a great view

After Chui lodge, went to Kiangazi house which is owned by the same company. It was a bit of a let down as this was more of a house. The room was dirty with insects splattered all over the mosquito net and on the wall.
The view was great. The food was okay and the staff were not easily available.
Give it a miss if you can as too pricey for what you get.

Rooms are very nice (stayed in the Sacred Ibis room). Service and inclusive meal/drink/safari plan is a very good deal. Beautiful patio to have your meals on. Sundowner safari was great. Very romantic....

We went two days back and thoughts are still on Kiangazi. Serene, beautiful location and view of the lake naivasha, waterhole where one can see zebras , excellent food and service, spacious rooms neatly done up, skillful guides adds up to describe this place. With just five rooms , it gives a completely home atmosphere. Hoping to be back soon to spot leopards.

Kiangazi is a small extremely comfortable lodge run by a small number of Kenyans! It is run well , the staff are friendly helpful ! The rooms are well decorated. Simple but very comfortable with large baths for those that like a hot tub.

The food was good , breakfast very simple although the omelet was over cooked and they got the wrong ingredients to the order .But this was the only small service issue.

The cook makes tasty food and you had better ask for more quick or it is gone !

They do a nice sun downer at the small lake which is well worth going to where you can drink a nice G T while the hippos wander by!

Highly recommended!

Room Tip: ask for the SACRED IBIS room for a large rooms lounge verandah and huge tub!
