“Good food / Bad toilet”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

Amongst the hub bub of the busy streets of Kumasi centre Vic Baboo's is a popular place to find comfortable food and is frequented by travellers and ex-pats.

If taking a taxi you would be better to ask for 'Baboo Bazaar' as they will probably know where to take you then.

The menu includes a wide range from pizzas, to hamburgers, to curries and the ever-present jollof rice. You can't go far wrong and the owners/staff are friendly and happy to accommodate your requests. The food service is pretty fast by Ghanaian standards.

The bad point of our visit was the toilet, which was accessed by a dark room upstairs (with someone sleeping in it) and had no running water.

“Good food”
Reviewed September 14, 2013

Had drinks and curry here with a group of friends. The food was good and was clearly a "westerners" hang out. Prices reasonable and service was good.

“Gorgeous curry”

I ordered chicken kebab and regretted it so much when my friend had a delicious vegetable curry. The staff were also very friendly and efficient which was a pleasant change!

“Favorite Place in Kumasi”
Reviewed August 5, 2013 via mobile

I went here multiple times during my 5 weeks in Kumasi. It's by far my favorite restaurant there. I got my much needed Indian fix. There Chicken Tika Masala is great. I would definelty stop here especially if you've just seen the market. The restaurante is at a cool temperature, perfect for those hot Ghana days.
