A nice wild place in which you can come closer to nature and enjoy your day on horse back discovering lake Bosumtwe. A place kept with heart and passion.

Myself and 2 friends traveled to the green ranch for an overnight trip from Kumasi. It is perfectly placed, just over an hours drive from the city. From the moment you arrive you will be transported into a wonderful and serene environment. The food is outstanding and our dinner was very reasonably priced. The next day we did a 2hr horse ride. All 3 of us were beginners and Elodi was very patient with us and led us on a ride, along side the lake. It was exceptional. On our return we experienced another excellent vegetarian lunch. Our whole 24hrs spent at the green ranch was outstanding. I highly recommend the green ranch.

I really enjoyed my time at the green ranch. It was so relaxing and nice to get away from the city for the weekend. Elodie is wonderful and so much fun to talk to. The good is delish and the whole setting just perfect. You should go if you get a chance!

My daughter and I visited Green Ranch for two days, staying in the beautifully designed rooms with mosaic bathrooms, spacious verandas and free natural mineral water. Elodie is a brave and fascinating French woman who has founded her own ranch in Africa, trained six horses, and established a small hotel with excellent vegetarian food. I am interested in African culture and religion so she let me stop to visit the local Rastafarian temple at Lake Bosomtwi, and shared with me her experiences in relation to the Rastafarians of Ghana as well as those in Europe. She has had a wide range of experiences and is a lovely hostess. The horse ride was very nice and the food was delicious: Getting a chance to eat fresh vegetables in Ghana is unusual, and these came with real filtered coffee and South African wines! We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time.
