I spent two nights in March 2013 at Anita Hotel. I stayed in standard room, for GHS96.00 (US$50.00) per night. Overall, the rooms are ok and clean. They have air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a small fridge, a writing table, and a 20-inch TV with access to local channels and selected satellite channels (mainly soccer and movie channels).
However, the hotel falls short in terms of service provide by staff. There is some sort of “I don’t care attitude among staff”. I checked in on a Sunday in the afternoon and the hotel WiFi in the rooms was not working. I was told that the problem would be fixed. This only happened the following day, after 36 hours and several follow-ups. My instructions to the restaurant staff not to add hot chilli into my food were ignored and when I complained, I received neither an apology nor replacement for my order.
