My challenge to any Ethiopian Traveler ,Find a restaurant with more interesting decorations, better food, cleaner environment, and friendlier and more personable wait staff in Ethiopia. From the moment we walked in and were greeted by one of the four sisters who own and run the restaurant, to our last sip of an Ethiopian wine, the experience was magical. The ceiling and walls of the restaurant are decorated in beautiful bright colors that help recreate images of one of Gondor's oldest churches. The food is available buffet style but is constantly replenished and made fresh. One is thoroughly entertained watching a musician playing an ancient stringed instrument, an Ethiopian coffee ceremony, or simply staring at the walls or ceiling. There are so many things to savor in this restaurant that you leave after several hours, feeling you're just not done. Lunch is the best time to go. Don't forget to greet each of the four sisters before you leave.

By the time we visited this place my other half was over ethiopian food. (i still was eating it) so our pick was a mixed one. On some levels the four sisters have worked very hard, but i am never sure about a place that has coach parties in for dinner.

This was one of the most pleasant surprises of our time in Ethiopia. We had heard it was good, but to be honest my heart sank just a bit when we turned into what looked to be an industrial-sized car park in front of the Four Sisters, complete with a medium-sized tour bus. Our fears quickly vanished once we were seated and were able to enjoy the excellent food and equally good service. This place was a real gem. Definitely worth a visit.

We have travelled Ethiopia on a few occasions and have finally found a restaurant that exceeds all expectations. The decor was fantastic and everthig was spotless including the washrooms which in most places in Ethiopia are deplorible. Clean towels, floors, sinks and even flowers.
When you get to the restaurant you are welcomed by the staff and then provided excellent service and very tasty food wether its traditional or what we determine as American. If you stay a little later the staff provides a little cultural music and singing which was very nice. At the end of it all the bill is very reasonable well worth it. I can say that should we go back to Gonder that the 4 Sisters will be at the top of our list and the only place that we will eat at.
