We booked this tour online after looking through a number of companies, and I cannot highly enough recommend using this company for your Salt Flat tours.
Not only is it vastly cheaper than a number of other companies (we paid $140 US for 3 days), it is also a fantastic service. Our tour guide Oscar was absolutely fantastic. He made the entire three days extremely enjoyable by letting us play music in the car, providing excellent entertainment at all times and he was also extremely knowledgeable about every stop (as well as speaking excellent English and Spanish)

My boyfriend and I chose Salty desert adventours for a tour of the Salar as well as the Reserva Nacional de fauna andina Eduardo Avaroa, and we are glad we chose them!
We joined a group of 11 english-speaking tourists divided in 2 cars. Our driver, Eusebio, was very safe (which is important, given the lack of roads) and showed mechanics skills when needed.
Our guide, Oscar, was so passionate, cultivated and communicative. He really made our journey to Bolivia worth it!
In a nutshell, we really enjoyed these 3 days in a breathtaking landscapes, with a skilled and joyful team
I would absolutely recommend this company. When I arrived in Uyyuni in the morning I had some time to figure out which company I would book. I’ve visited 3 companies and Salty dessert turned out to be the cheapest option (approximately 200 Bolivianos cheaper).
We were with 5 persons, the driver and our tour guide Dino. Dino was the best tour guide I had in South America so far!! Dino had so much knowledge about the area and we visited a lot of amazing places and landscapes. Besides his knowledge about the area, Dino was the most friendliest guide I’ve come across and moreover he has much knowledge about history, his country, music, art and so forth and so on. Our whole group was very enthusiastic about him as he always made his best effort to make the most out of our trip.
If you are planning to making this trip I would highly recommend you to book with this company and if you’re having Dino as your guide, I’m damn sure you will have a blast.
We booked our tour the moment we got to Uyuni salty desert was advised by other people we met while traveling.
The next day we started our tour we booked the Spanish tour since this was a lot cheaper than the English tour but our Spanish guide Peter noticed that it was a full English speaking group and did the tour in English.
Although this English wasn’t perfect everything was clear and he was able to answer most of our questions.
He drove safely and was very kind, the accommodation is basic but he what do you expect... all in all I can highly recommend this tour operator!
