Visit early for the sulphuric-smelling geysers. There are both man-made as well as natural geysers in the area. Be careful of the slippery and soft ground. Some people have been known to get burned or fall because the ground gives way beneath them so be careful where you step. And bring a thick jacket, gloves and warm clothes. Even in summer, the mornings are ridiculously cold.
