We stayed at the Tonito Hotel for one night before getting on our Uyuni trip. The room was spacious with two beds and had a clean bathroom with a big shower. We chose a room with solar power and paid almost 45 € for the double room, which is a LOT in Bolivia. We would have expected slightly more interested reception staff for that price, but the fantastic breakfast made up for it. A lovely Senora made the best coffee, we had during our entire trip. There were also eggs, pancakes, proper bread, cheese, fruit etc... At night the hotel runs a pizzeria called Minute Man, which also does great food - but again not cheap.
However, one of the big advantages of this place is that they have water during the day while most part of the town doesnt have water for most of the afternoon.More
