“not so good pizza.... looks like a frozen one :P”
Reviewed June 28, 2012

It is really a challenge to find a good restaurant in Tupiza!
This one had a really miserable pizza... it looked like one that you take from the freezer directly in to the microwave!

“Horrible”
Reviewed October 12, 2011

Struggled to find a decent restaurant in Tupiza, but had heard about Tu Pizza thru Tripadvisor so thought we would give it a try. No atmosphere, no one in there, staff fully occupied in playing a board game rather than serving us. So hungry we ordered some chips which came straight from the freezer to the fryer and arrived first. Ate those. Then the pizza - fully processed, nothing fresh at all. And here's the thing. Took our uneaten pizzas out to the square to feed the many starving dogs. They took one sniff and ran away. Even they wouldn't eat it!

“Carbonara just like in Italy!”
Reviewed July 10, 2011

We rocked up as this place was opening so it was empty, one large room, basic, but inviting enough.

We ordered the spaghetti carbonara and vegie lasagna, the carbonara was incredibly good. Perfectly aldente, good quality pancetta and tasted exactly as it did when we ate it in Italy. The lasagna was a little lacking in veggies for me, more corn than anything else, but was pleasant, hence the 4 star rating, the carbonara was one of the tastiest things we've eaten in 6 months in south America.

The cost was average, I think the carbonara was around 32 bolivianos, the lasagna a little more. There were also pizzas on the menu and some other meat dishes.

Basic Italian done really well.
