Maybe compared to the rest of Tupiza's accommodation, this place is a gem, but we just didn't see it.
The good: room and bathroom were clean, with towels provided. Hot water was reliable. Breakfast was ok. Wifi sort of worked (typical Bolivia-slow).
The bad: the toilet's smell was so rank, that we could barely spend any time in the bathroom. Not sure what was worse, the urinal cake odor or the water. They say it's a communal kitchen, but when you use it before their strange breakfast time of 8:30 (salt flat tours all leave at 8am), the workers aren't very happy with you and hustle you out. It's also pretty far from town (10-15 minute walk) and there seems to be plenty of other cheap accommodation closer to the center.
