During a drive to a few wineries just outside and North of Cafayate, we decided to have a light lunch here at this relatively new and beautifully laid-out winery in a expansive, modern building with nice surrounding gardens, view over Cafayate and into the mountains. Their spinach and cheese rotolone came in 3 mini-towers on a bed of creole tomatoes and garlic, topped with fresh parsley. Their salad of roasted beets, carrots, goat cheese and onions marinated in olive oil consisted of slices artfully stacked in a pyramid form. Both were a delight to look at and equally delicious to eat. With the food we had 2 glasses of outstanding Piatelli Premium Torrontes. Given the quality of the food, the setting and the ambience, a very delightful lunch.
