We found the owner to be most helpful during our recent stay. Jasper is a very unique town (population 248). People come to watch the elk and the leaves change. On this recent weekend we wanted to watch a certain college football game which was broadcast on Fox Sports Network. Not an easy assignment in a small very rural town. The owner of the Arkansas House saved the best seat in the restaurant for seeing the game for us. Served us a nice meal to include elk burger and trout. Then, his wife escorted us into a room in the hotel with a large tv showing the game. These people want your business and show it.
