Huntsville Arkansas is a cute little town. When asked several people on where to eat, all quickly referred us to Granny's Kitchen. Diners included business types, families with kids, couples and local hard working men wanting the big chicken fried steak platter. It is a very popular place- a good sign, right. Went for lunch on week day. Was 90% full. Kind of crowded and loud. Staff nice. Service is o.k. Was unable to obtain parking directly outside the door- had to park about a short block away. There was no wait to get seated. Had a vibe of feeling like we were outsiders, but this is common in small towns. Had basic burger and fries. Would have liked to have seen a more extended menu. Prices were a bit on the higher side. Food quality is fine, just about average. I give over all rating of better than average bc everything went fine from start to finish with no surprises in between. Sandwiches with fries will average $8+. Would visit again.
