The negative parts of this review are not the fault of Los Lago, rather it is with Interval International. This is a wonderful property that is very well maintained given that it is over 40 years old. Lovely grounds as the buildings are are nestled in a tall pine forest that is lakeside. We were given a one bedroom unit with a living room/efficiency kitchen and one bathroom. Nice newer furnishings, carpet and paint. Super clean!!! The bad news is it had only had two windows, one over the kitchen sink and one in the bedroom. Both windows had views of the parking lot. Given that it had no outside balcony or patio and there was virtually no outside view this unit was only used to cook a quick meal and for sleeping. If you get the small one bedroom unit this is what to expect for all of this type of units. The two bedroom units all had either an outdoor deck or patio that overlook the lake as these building were all built lake side. Very disappointed as we traded our Memorial Day week timeshare at the Lake of the Ozarks. Our trade unit is a three bedroom free standing home with walls of windows overlooking the lake with a large deck that is adjacent to the Lodge of the Four Seasons (over a major U.S. holiday weekend). What we received was an efficiency apartment with a view of the parking lot. Again, this is not the fault of Los Lagos it is a criticism of Interval International. I understand that there no other weeks available that had been "deposited' but our trade was very disappointing. We are to blame in some aspects and should have been more observant of the property description. Just make sure you know what you are getting when you "trade" properties. Los Lagos is a wonderful place and Hot Springs Village was awesome. It sure would have been nice to set out on the deck and have a drink overlooking the lake instead of standing at the kitchen sink looking out over the parking lot.
