Had lunch here today and the food was pretty good. I liked it better than Smash Burger in Texarkana but not as well as Fuddruckers. The restroom and dining area were clean. I had the avocado burger and fries. This is a regular hamburger with avocado slices. I requested burger be cooked medium (pink). It arrived with very little pink but was still delicious. Fries were fresh cut and delicious. They are cut much larger than normal French fries. The one constructive criticism would be that the cook was not wearing a cap or hairnet. He had very short hair, maybe bald, but still should wear hair protection.

We stopped in Hope to eat at Tailgaters based on yelp and trip advisor reviews. We weren't disappointed! The atmosphere was cute, bathrooms fancy and clean, nice personnel and good food. We ordered applewood bacon burger which was luke warm and bacon was very small but my husband said it was tasty. Fried green beans and fried pickles were great! Dipping sauces were good. Only a few minutes off the beaten path. Glad we stopped. Right across from a working train station and good photo ops. Downtown is cute and found a good antique shop one block over too!!

Tailgaters is a fun restaurant with vintage decor and delicious food. We had the regular burger and fries...good old fashioned burger. The meat was tasty and perfectly cooked...juicy medium.
The staff was helpful and friendly. It was a enjoyable lunch.

We tried the Applewood Bacon burger, and it was about as good as a burger can get. The quality of the burger itself and the way it was prepared make me expect that the many other combinations are also just as good. The milkshake was a good, old-fashioned treat. The fries and onion strings weren't bad, just not as especially good. As a place to have a good burger and hang out with friends, it sure beats a chain restaurant hands down.

Came with a group of friends while traveling back to Texas from a weekend getaway in Arkansas. This place is fantastic! Fun place. I love the glass block at the counter! Friendly staff. We kind of took over the place with the 17 of us (including 8 kids)! They didn't mind at all, and helped us with everything we needed. And the food - absolutely the best gourmet burgers and fried sides (green beans, onion strings, and more)! We will now look for reasons to travel back just to eat here again!
