This site is administered by the National Park Service and is free. Free guided tours of the home (furnished in period, not original to the home, but approved by Clinton's late mother), free junior ranger program or kids, and informational exhibits. Interesting way to spend one time if you're in the area or passing through.

“Great place to stop and visit!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 17, 2014

We stopped here because it was the only other thing to do in the area besides the Crater of Diamonds State park and are sure glad that we did. The entire tour was FREE and very informative about Bill Clinton's early childhood. No politics were discussed or endorsed. Being that we are not Clinton fans we still found this National Park to be very enjoyable. If you have children be sure and ask for the free Junior Ranger packet.

“Work in progress”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2014

We stopped by in March and like others have reported, had a hard time finding it. GPS doesn't zero in on it and there is not much in the way of signs or directions. But it is worth the effort. The National Park Service is running the site--the visitors center is in the house next door--there is no parking other than in the side street. It is still a work in progress but has a lot of possibilities. There is a minimum of information about Clinton in the visitor's center and a tiny gift shop. The house itself is in good shape and the rangers give an informative escorted tour.

“Great insight into a future president's beginnings”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 12, 2014

Spent about two hours here with spouse. Home/visitor center is near train tracks and is a bit hard to get to with traffic. So please be careful.

There's a junior ranger program for kids to do to earn a badge (free). Home tours are free and led by park rangers who know their stuff and are interested in the site. This is a great place! All furnishings are period (not belonging to the family) but were approved by Bill's mother before she passed.

There's one Clinton artifact: a book of Bill's. Very sweet.

“Quick Visit”

very informative but quick tour. Not really easy to see from the road. Parking is on side street next to visitor center.
