I attended a June wedding at this venue. The owner was horribly rude to my husband and I... there is not enough space here to fully explain the situation but he took it upon himself to make a difficult family situation completely intolerable. Imagine being a guest at a wedding and have a stranger come up to you and say loudly and hatefully, in front of all of the other guests "you better not cause any trouble or I'll have you removed..." We had done absolutely nothing but show up because we were invited. This man should not be offering wedding services... a bride is gambling with her big day if she makes the mistake of booking this venue. The owner scrambled to apologize once he realized we were innocent bystanders in a web of petty and vindictive women controlled by an evil ex wife... but the damage was done... you can't fix humiliating a wedding guest... brides beware... there are better options available for this kind of venue and I would suggest you avoid this place like the plague.

We happened upon this hidden gem while on a fly fishing trip in the Ozarks of Arkansas. Sherry is a generous hostess. Chuck is a fabulous fly fishing guide as well as a helpful host. He is an expert!
Cozy updated rooms, great breakfast. We BBQed our own dinner on the deck using the family BBQ. Sherry leant us dishes etc.
A great experience. GREAT fishing!

The lodge is small, only 6 rooms. Our room had a view of the river. The lodge is run by a family and that make you feel part of that family. Our host is also a World Class Caster (fly fishing), he took us fishing and we caught 30 trout in less than 4 hours (catch and release). Great fun, peaceful, quiet. It was our anniversary and this trip well always be remembered as one of the best.

Although we weren't here on vacation, my sister had her wedding and reception here. She rented all the rooms and they were to provide decorations, tent, chairs, catering, and basically everything except entertainment and the liqueur to which she had to hire a private bartender to serve.

She had rented rooms for 2 days and so her bachlorette and bachelor parties were held here the night before. The next morning (the day of the wedding), the owners start knocking on the door telling her to get up and start helping them set stuff up.

Come time for the wedding the owner's daughter/wedding coodinator is running around being very rude to my sister's wishes for her wedding, basically nit-picking. (and who's day was this?) One instance she was arguing with my sister about where to set her large framed bridal photo and then ended up taking off with it and sat it where she wanted. This lady was also well aware that the wedding was formal attire and she had on a moo moo, no make up, and flip flops.

Now onto the show-this lady kept coming to the room several times like it was the end of the world telling us that we need to get moving and so we did and ended up standing outside for about 30 min while it all got started. It had rained the day before and this was and outside wedding under a gazebo, but we had to walk some seriously steep steps and then over a bridge and then over a tennis court to get to where we were standing-all this was fine , but because it had rained it was all slick and very muddy in places and they had placed old rotted boards and nasty oriental rugs to jump over from one terrain to the next. it was ridiculous,

Driftwood Lodge is located on the bank of the Little Red River just a few minutes from Heber Springs, Arkansas. They have 6 rooms which are very clean with very comfortable beds.
The rooms also have a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot.
Owners, Chuck and Sherry, make you feel very welcome. Sherry provides a great breakfast while Chuck gives great advice on fly-fishing. We were very pleased with our two night stay at Driftwood. Quiet, relaxing, and friendly atmosphere. Each room has a private entrance. We plan to stay again on our next trip to Heber Springs.
