We visited this attraction as an end of October half term treat taking an 8 year old, two six year olds, a five year old and a 17month old baby. Everyone of them found something which gave great joy and happy memories.
The zoo is easy to walk round even with a buggy. The Thomas the Tank Engine train ride is fabulous fun and the play area is zoned to suit children of all ages and abilities.
It being half term the attraction was packed with visitors. We took our own picnic and went first to the covered picnic area to have lunch. What a surprise to be odered into a dark cave by a six foot, very ugly looking witch! The kids loved it and all of us screamed when surprised by a second witch inside the cave. It's the little extra that makes Drusillas special. The only downside is the ridiculous prices of gifts in the shops and the very steep entry costs. But my guess is it is expensive to care for the animals some of which are endangered.
