Owner description: Widely regarded as the best small zoo in Europe Drusillas Park offers a fun finding-out day out. Brilliant play areas including Go Wild! Go Bananas! and Amazon Adventure. Plus a splashpad, Hello Kitty Secret Garden and African-themed three-ride attraction Go Safari! Get nose to nose with nature with our close encounters. It’s no ordinary zoo!

We visited this attraction as an end of October half term treat taking an 8 year old, two six year olds, a five year old and a 17month old baby. Everyone of them found something which gave great joy and happy memories.
The zoo is easy to walk round even with a buggy. The Thomas the Tank Engine train ride is fabulous fun and the play area is zoned to suit children of all ages and abilities.
It being half term the attraction was packed with visitors. We took our own picnic and went first to the covered picnic area to have lunch. What a surprise to be odered into a dark cave by a six foot, very ugly looking witch! The kids loved it and all of us screamed when surprised by a second witch inside the cave. It's the little extra that makes Drusillas special. The only downside is the ridiculous prices of gifts in the shops and the very steep entry costs. But my guess is it is expensive to care for the animals some of which are endangered.

I visited with my 3 children and some friends, I have to say what a wonderful day out we had. The Zoo was fantastic, my children loved the animals and especially the little books you can get at the beginning of the Zoo to stamp to match the animals you see, they actually took these in to school after the half term to share the experience.
The play area is really fantastic and caters for all ages, and they loved the indoor play as well as it is huge and really keep them entertained.
A really fantastic day out, the food, the staff and the cleanliness of Druzillas Park is one of the best I have come across, we will definitely be back again!!!
Great value for money!!!

The children enjoyed their day here, that's the main thing! Extremely crowded during half term week (understandably). I think we might have enjoyed it more if we'd managed to go when less crowded. Zoo areas nicely laid out and interesting, these are the best bits of the park in my opinion. It's a shame the park isn't better landscaped to incorporate the views of the surrounding South Downs, you get glimpses now and then but feel a bit 'fenced' in a 'theme park' kind of way. Some more open views and green areas making the most of the setting would enhance the experience further.

We recently visited this wonderful attraction as a family on the recommendation of a friend. We certainly weren't disappointed. In fact it was one of the most memorable days out as family we have ever had. Drusilla's is not just a zoo, it is much, much more. When we arrived we found ample car parking spaces close to the entrance, despite being very busy. The park is nestled in a beautiful, picturesque setting. When we entered the zoo we were greeted by a fantastic atmosphere of carnival sounds and wonderful sights. As you journey around the zoo, weird and wonderful animals reveal themselves. Their environments are clean and spacious and they appear to be extremely well looked after. Their are opportunities along the way to feed the animals and to hold creatures like cockroaches etc. which my son found amazing!!! When we finished looking at the animals went ventured towards the activities part of the park. There we were spoiled with choice of activities from climbing walls to slides. My little boy is still buzzing from the train ride on Thomas the Tank Engine around the park. While we were there it did start to rain and we were directed towards an indoor soft play area which again was a real pleasure. The children could run wild (safely) while us adults indulged in the delights of adjacent cafe in full view of our children. We ended our day eating in one of the many places available at this wonderful park. The food was fantastic! To summarise, this is a park that has something for everyone. It has a certain charm, the staff are very helpful and clearly love working there. The activities and animals there will entertain, educate and mesmerize. It is spacious and full of little surprises around every corner. Thank you Drusillas for a fantastic experience!!
