“Didn't Disappoint!”
Reviewed March 1, 2014

I had a business dinner at Dar Zarrouk a couple weeks ago. It was well done. The atmosphere was top notch for a nicer restaurant, the service was attentive (overly attentive even perhaps? The impeccably attired wait staff was nearly swarming about the place), the food was delicious, and the view was outstanding overlooking the coast. Dar Zarrouk is situated in the lovely Sidi Bou Said area of Tunis, well known for it's picturesque Old City feel. You will enjoy, it's first rate. For dinner it might be too high end/gourmet for kids, althought the place was super friendly. I'll be back for sure to dine again at Dar Zarrouk.

“Nice view and service”
Reviewed December 25, 2013 via mobile

We could see a nice ocean view from a big glass. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice for emphasizing white and blue even for the table cloth and napkin. WRT the meals, I loved the assortment of mezze and my wife enjoyed turkey, special for the Christmas. The cost for two including bottle of wine was 160 TND, not so expensive.

“Superb restaurant”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

We had two meals here and found it to be first rate.
The food was excellent - I really liked Kabkaboul.
The surroundings were very smart and the staff very professional, more or less able to cope with English.
Outside the restaurant is an outdoor bar and cafe which we also used, which was luxurious too.
The price was reasonable for a good quality restaurant in the UK, but the meal was better than that.

“Great location, shame about the food, service, and price”
Reviewed September 14, 2013

The place looks very up-market but it is badly let-down by all other aspects. Waited 50 minutes for soup ... at a time when the place was about a quarter full. Food was nothing special. Prices are high. This is a place trading only on it's location. Give it a miss
