My extended family spent a terrific three nights here, Oct 7-10, 2017. We all five agree it was our favorite stop on a totally wonderful 2+week African trip. Every staff person we met was outstanding starting with Delta who met us at the airstrip. So knowledgeable! We learned about this beautiful landscape and its people and animals daily. Then there's the stars one can see. You are distracted from spotting leopards etc at night. Each manager was so hands on, friendly and informative also. Blown away by the food, I'm celiac and the GF food which I was served some of best anywhere. Tents were outfitted very well. Luxury in the delta. Also serve as viewing area for game. Amazing wildlife daily.
Do I even need to say we want to return for more of the same asap!!?

Room tip: Each tent/ suite has its own view. There are no bad views.

Despite temperatures up to 45C at mid-day, our stay at Tubu Tree Camp could not have been more delightful! We went on game drives morning and night and saw an incredible variety of wildlife in truly gorgeous surroundings. Our guide, Kaizer, was fantastic. The staff were all friendly and eager to make our stay the best it could be. The meals, wine and drinks were far beyond our expectations, and the spacious tented rooms set high above the ground and connected by raised wooden walkways are a real treat. You'll enjoy hot showers, flush toilets, a huge comfortable bed draped in mosquito netting (which we actually didn't need, thanks to the dry weather), and your own private deck with stunning views. Best yet, there's a constant parade of wildlife strolling by, including Impala, kudu, wildebeest, elephants, warthogs, baboons and vervet monkeys. if you're contemplating a visit here, DO IT!

Room tip: Be prepared: You'll have no Internet or cell service here. (But it's worth it!)

The treehouse feel of Tubu is a great experience. Rooms are very nice with indoor and outdoor showers. The baboons could sometimes be pesty so I chose to shower inside! Our hosts Jared and Philly made sure everything ran smoothly, they were very attentive to everyone. Our first afternoon ride we saw a pride of lion set up for a kill. It was so exciting watching each lion doing its part. This was our 4th camp and probably the best one for photography. Our driver "The General" was a photographer himself so drove his truck to the perfect locations for photo opts. Food was generally good and they catered really well to my daughter in law who is gluten and dairy free. This is a wonderful camp and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

My Wife and I visited Tubu tree Camp the first week of September,2017 and had a wonderful time. The wildlife drives were spectacular, particularly the elephants. The camp is elevated, and with good reason with all the elephants around.A Mokoro boat trip is definitely cool and we were fortunate enough to see a Malachite Kingfisher, the "Jewel of the Delta".The camp manager,Jared is a very talented and committed individual, who runs a very good camp.We had visited Chitable first,so this was a little different, normally I was told, with more water. On our last day, we managed to get the morning game drive in and it was fabulous.Overall,a great destination for a photo safari.

Room tip: Book a Mokoro boat ride.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in a very comfortable and well appointed tent. The setting is unique and the baboons provided non-stop entertainment. The staff is welcoming and friendly and we certainly will never forget the beautiful meals under the stars and the "sundowner" cocktails around a nearby waterhole. We also liked that the guides ate meals with us. Tubu Tree Camp understands hospitality and we loved our stay with them.
