You cannot go 2 feet without seeing some wonderful wildlife at this magnificent camp. Words cannot do justice to the 4 nights we spent at Mombo in May. You will see all of the "Big Five" here (especially since the rhino reintroduction has been going on), will sleep on raised "tents" (which are nicer than most 5 star hotel rooms) with Cape buffalo nestled on the ground beneath you, and be treated to exceptional hospitality, food, and knowledge. Mombo is expensive, but woth every penny and we will be going back. You may hear lions calling at night and see a shy mother leopard with her cubs. If you are at all thinking about visiting Mombo, just do it, you won't be sorry.
