This is a place where Indians Taurepanes and Kamaracoto live in their houses built from red soil and palm roof.
The open space of Gran Sabana seems to be never ended.
Only one city is Santa Elena de Uairen where the time seems to stopped in early seventies. You will hear salsa and marengue music everywhere on streets, barbeque smell, old huge cars.
It is 30 min by car from Brazilian boarder. You can get here by 5 person cessna from Canaima or by bus from Ciudad Bolivar and Puerto Ordaz.
