“Could do better”

We stayed in this hotel for three nights!
It was almost a nightmare...we were travelling in three but they gave us a room where the mosquito nets were broken so we asked to be changed and got a double room where the mosquito nets seemed more well mantained. Despite that, the rooms aren t too clean, the bed sheets were usually dirty. We did not know what caused the sheets of the bed to be dirty, since we could find stains ( probably an animal pooing). There are plenty of bugs that come inside the room since it is not closed ( the floor allows almost everything to get inside because it has holes). We found coackroches all over, sometimes in the bathroom , the shower and sometimes you could see them trying to come out from the sink.
I would have recommended to the hotel to put mosquito nets for each bed, this would give a feeling of security and protection.
The room isn't too big. The bathroom isn't really separated from the room and you can hear everything. There is no door, just a bamboo door that hardly closes!

The surrounding is nice, you have the view of the river and the jungle all over. The lobby/restaurant area is nice, unfortunatly they have so many animals ( dogs, birds...) walking all over the restaurant, tables, seats....and even inside the kitchen. After we finished eating ( the food is very good) we found dogs licking the leftovers form out plates and bird also eating from the plates...
i would say that the staff could be more clean, prevent mosquitoes from disturbing you while having dinner ( sometimes it gets impossible to eat coz there are just too many). They should cover and mantain the whole building but unfortunately it is far from being like that.
The staff was friendly and nice, a bit slow, especially for excursions...you never knew at what time you were actually going to start the excursions...sometimes the guides would leave without telling us and would come back after an hour or so....
Just be patient but try to ask the staff, local guides to respect the schedule!
The place is expensive- 100$/person/night and I do not think it is a fair price! I think you should look for a better option!

I consider my stay there as an adventure. A great place in the middle of nowhere, breathtaking views, lot of pure nature around, lots of beautiful birds etc. The electricity all over the camp comes from the power unit which they switch off after 11PM so take some torch with you if you do not want to go to sleep earlier. Be aware of the fact that you stay in the jungle so some strange creatures can appear in your bungalow. But you can always call one of the friendly Indians who run this camp to remove it from your room. You live there closer to nature than you can imagine. You won’t sleep much for sure- sounds of the nature will wake you up early in the morning, but it’s worth it- the jungle is even more beautiful when the sun rises.
Summarizing it was the best attraction in whole Venezuela. It was raining all the time- after all it is a rain forest  but I will remember it till the end of my live. Mis palafitos is a must while visiting Venezuela.
