Visited the restaurant a number of times on my trips to Venezuela. Been there both before the redecoration and after. Definitely the earlier version had a more authentic feel to it.
The food is always great at Maute Grill. Starting with appetizers: arepas, nata (heavenly), yuca, etc... And of course the meat. Make your choice of any meat, everything is great, I always go for punta. Finally all above mentioned goes well with a nice bottle of scotch.
