“The best in caracas”
Reviewed March 29, 2013

I traveled frequently to Caracas and I have been innseveral other hotels, but this is for aure the best. The hotel is a luxury hotel, with service and facilities on line wiht this clasification. The position is in one of the residential area in Caracas. The services are fast and polite. The Gym is large and clean. Sauna was not working. The pool is great and offers a lot of chairs where to relax. Excellent the business center. The breakfast was simply fantastic, while the dinner in the restaurantnby the pool was nothing special. For sure I will be back here.

For starters, if comparing this property with other Caracas hotels, it would get 5 stars. With similar hotels elsewhere it rates a 3, as Tripadvisor is a global site I am rating it 3. The building has some age already, but it is being well maintained.
This being my 5th trip to Caracas in 3 months’ period, this is to summarize “the best you can get”. The check in took 30min, I arrived on Feb 24, and stayed in line between 3:30 until 4PM. After I spoke to the clerk, the process was faster than usual, and they did not put an exorbitant (say $5k USD) pre authorization on my credit card as I have experienced other local hotels doing (pls check my other reviews).
The staff is generally friendly on the front desk, not so much on room service where they put you in infinite holds and sometimes do not pick up the phone. The lobby at this property is usually pretty busy, good if you are travelling alone, you will see a lot of people for drinks or just killing time at the restaurants. The main strength at this hotel is that it has a good environment for making contacts and meeting people. The in room cabled internet speed is acceptable, allowing you to stream movies, make Voip calls and browse with no interruption as if you were at home. Another perk is that it has in room WiFi in all rooms, something is very rare to find at similarly priced Caracas hotels. It is also generally easier to find cabs to leave the hotel in the mornings, it doesn’t mean they will always be there, but I have never had to wait for 1+ hour like happened at other hotels before.

Room Tip: Ask for the suites, it is a buiding attached to the hotel and has slightly larger rooms.

We stayed for three nights because we missed our Isla Margarita flight. The check in took 3 hours. The rooms are nice business average, bit small and freezing. The bathroom looked nice at first but when you drained the bath....the water drained in to bathroom. They looked at it....cleanead it and that was it,no room change, no repair. So honestly I stopped to care and floded it time after time. Breakfast was nice....loved the chocolate fondue. The staff at pool was really slow, I had to chase one so I could pay my drinks....Restaurant food was tasty, swimming pool bit crowded and could have better stairs to get out but at least they gave you pool towels. Fortunately last day, at the reception, there was new staff and not only they spoke english but they gave us late check out...at least one positive thing.

Eurobuilding is one of the oldest business hotels in Caracas. One of the critical elements when choosing a Hotel in Caracas is where you will go, because the traffic is one of the worst in the world.
This Hotel have all essentials: a good room, good shower and a above the average breakfast.
The front desk can be slow and if you are unlucky to have 5/6 guest ahead of you, be ready to wait a little.

Stayed here for 3 days whilst on business in Caracas. Nice hotel, good food, friendly staff. Had to move to another hotel due to availability unfortunately as this was fully booked. Pool was nice and the view of the mountains and airport was nice.

The hotel has a pretty nice location provided you have a means of transport, its minutes away from Las Mercedes, Caracas' entertainment district. Offers a decent breakfast and fast access to Chacao, Caracas' financial district and the American embassy, most rooms have been refurbished and are pretty nice. The main problem would be the staff and the lack of training and will they have, a comon problem in venezuelan hotels. But to be fair I have never had any problems with this hotel, which has been for over 10 years my top choice in the capital. Not bad, not extraordinary, I think it ties with the new Renaissance La Castellana as the best hotel in the venezuelan capital.

Been stayed there two times this year. Choose this hotel bacause located next to our partner office. The hotel has 2 tower, hotel tower some room has been refurbish while suite tower more spacious. Prefer to stay in hotel tower not only becasue have jacuzi for the bathub but more tidy. Internet is free but inside the room you'll have poor wifi signal, even when staying in suite the cable data did not help.

Room Tip: Prefer stay in hotel tower, 10th fl
