First, I will like to thanks all the staff, Specially Miguel Castro (Guest Relationship Manager). It was due to his enthusiastic personality and above all commitment to others that allowed for a wonderful proposal to my soon to be wife Angelyn Bonaldy (#anggi_fit). Furthermore," A great captain would not be successful without an outstanding crew," making emphasis on this comment I will also like to congratulate for an outstanding performance to Yhoseph, Zorziret, Solimar, Renata & Gabriela Morey, for their creativity in putting the dream together. Moreover, Jesus our waiter for the evening was great overseeing every little detail throughout the lovely dinner, and Moises who brought quite the delightful music performance. On the other hand, an standing ovation to Chef Jhon Machado whose cooking ability and creativity can only be describe as "heavenly", the flavors and quality of the dishes he made was on a whole different level. It is because of this level of service that Marriot thrives in success and as such, a reward is a most. Thank you very much for all your help and commitment.

Room Tip: great view for sunset, and sunrise.

We made a reservation for a night at the hotel. When we arrived we were told that the system was not working due to technical issues but that should be resolved in a few minutes. The minutes turned into 3 hours waiting at the lobby for the check-in. We got no retribution whatsoever for the inconvenience. When we finally got the room they told us that there was no internet connection but we had already paid so there was nothing to be done. After that we decided to ask for room service since it was already too late go out to dinner. The menu had no prices so we had to ask for the price of everything. They didn't have 80% of the menu and what they did have was more expensive than most luxury restaurants in Caracas. It was overall an unpleasant experience.

Wonderful place, friendly staff, and excellent food. Typical Venezuelan staples prepared including arepas and cachapas along with food which isn't strictly Venezuelan. We recommend the 'reina pepiada' arepa made with avocado and chicken as well as arepas with 'carne mechada' and cheese. Every evening a different theme is featured; this evening it was 'bruschettas', shown below. You get to choose from an array of toppings including sun-dried tomatoes, eggplant, pesto, olive paste, and others. Jean Martinez is in charge of these 'stations' and makes the best treats! You can tell he has a passion for gastronomy and he will always treat you not only with delicious food but with kindness and a smile.

Thank you for this wonderful stay! :)

Just the one night on a side trip from Bogota. Room 904.

Had access to club lounge on 6th floor and enjoyed a lovely breakaway.

Tried the sauna...very large and tidy.

World cup viewing was available in lobby bar on a temporary large screen. Great atmosphere too.

Room service good.

Bed supremely comfortable.
