One of the finest sushi restaurants in Caracas, it is located in Las Mercedes, a centric zone on the East side of the city, you can park your car on the California shopping mall and head to the restaurant or have the valet park your car for you which can sometimes be a relief since traffic can get pretty hectic in this part of town after office hours and on weekends.
The restaurant has two areas, an outdoors area which is nicer on weekends since there is considerably less traffic, and an indoors area which is small but cozy, both are very comforting and relaxing.
The service is great, although it can get a bit slow at times, there is a bar on both areas where you can order natural juices, sodas or cocktails to go along with your meal. The Peruvian influence of the restaurant can only be appreciated in the entry platters of the menu, with a wide variety of the popular ceviche and cuasa dishes.
The rest of the menu is Japanese cuisine, starting with the popular favorites; Alaska, California, Spicy Tuna, Dynamite and Tiger rolls, along with other a variety of hosokamis, sashimi and wakame or neptune salads.
The rest of the rolls are creations of the restaurant, where you can see Latin influences such as sweet plantain or mango slices, or crunchy tempura prawns, squid or veggies on the 20 plus rolls that they offer.
As for the price, this is not a fast food restaurant, a meal for two consisting of an entry two main dishes and a couple of drinks can easily cost over 100$ (at official rate) but it is well worth the meal considering the food quality/cost ratio since everything was fresh and delicious.
