...but it looks like they are remodeling. I hope so, because they used to have a great assortment of gourmet breads, excellent coffee and it was a good bakery all around. A bit expensive, though.

The coffee here is among the best in the city. The pizzas are delicious, and the sandwiches and salads are big enough to share, with fresh ingredients and good combinations. Try the almond croissants or the gourmet breads.

This place has good quality pastry, however the service has a lot of room to improve. Last time I waited over 20 minutes to get a sandwich. Remember that this is a cafeteria style and nothing needs to be cooked. Recommended for very casual needs.

Located on a busy corner in lower Altamira, all seating is outside on the terrace. Fresh baked goods, light sandwiches and interesting lunches are available. Known as best bakery in the city. VERY reasonably priced, it has set the tone for over 10 years as a meeting place for friends and acquaintances. Good for informal business meetings. All sorts of soups, sandwiches, all with a french touch, is sure to please

very calm part of the city, like here the carrot cake, or the salmon and cheese sandwiches, or just to seat and watch, in a city where you cannot seat everywhere for security reasons
